What is your standard production time? 
From the time artwork is approved, new orders take approximately 4 weeks. Once the setup has been cut, reorders take approximately 2 weeks.

What type of art should I send? What art file formats do you accept?
A vector file with only spot colors, no gradients, half-tones or four-color process. All fonts converted to paths or curves in either .EPS (Encapsulated PostScript), AI (Adobe Illustrated version CS3 or before), .CDR (Corel Draw version X3 or before)

Why 3-D?
When the ink from a screened item wears off, or if the part is painted over, the information is lost, whereas, an item with raised or recessed graphics will always remain to be seen. The graphics can never be removed, ever.

Do you offer EQP?
No, instead we do offer our blanket order agreement, where you contract for the total quantity that will be used over a 12 month period with the possibility to purchase at lower than end quantity price. Contact the factory for details.

Do you charge for virtual proofs?
We offer the first two sketches at no charge if you supply us with a vector file. We will add any copy and refine the image to fit our product. We reserve the right to apply an art charge after the second revision.

Is there a charge for cleaning up my artwork?
For raster or bitmapped images, there is a charge which varies depending on the quality of the art file.

When will I receive my virtual proof?
2-3 business days

What is your overrun/underrun policy?
Normally orders are subject to a +/- 5% unless prior arrangements have been made. All orders are charged accordingly.

What do you charge for spec/pre-production samples?
All set up charges and $125.00 to ready the equipment necessary to produce a few (3 to 5) parts.  Lead time is approximately 10 working days.

Do you PMS match?
All of our items are printed using hot stamp foils; therefore exact PMS color matches are not available. However, we do have an extensive library of colors and chances are we will come very close.

What are your credit and payment requirements?
Prepayment or net 30 days with approved credit. Accounts unpaid after 30 days will incur a late charge of 1.5% per month on the unpaid balance. Berlekamp Plastics accepts Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express for your convenience.

Why is your contact information not listed on your website?
Our product is available for purchase through promotional product distributors. To locate a promotional product distributor look in your yellow pages under advertising/promotional products or email us atsales@berlekamp.com and we will try to help you locate a distributor in your area.

Do you offer split shipments?
Yes. $15.00 (v) and up to six months storage for 1000 pieces or more, orders must be paid in full when completed.

What is your policy on trademarks and copyrights?
Berlekamp Plastic Ad-Line assumes that our clients are authorized to use the trademarks presented to us for reproduction. We assume no liability in trademark or copyright disputes. Should we determine the product may require a license to merchandise, we will require a copy of your authorization.

Do you offer combined quantity pricing?
Yes. Products must be in the same product category in which case we will apply the total quantity ordered to determine the quantity price break. A $30.00 (V) change of copy charge is applied per change of copy.

Do you screenprint? 
No. Most of our decorating is achieved by using the hot stamp foil process.

No. Our product is available to be purchased by those who intend to distribute our product to a third party end user.
